Possible questions

Because dentures are designed to fit over the gums, they cannot stop the process of bone loss that occurs when teeth are missing. As a result, the jaw changes shape and dentures become loose. This is why they need to be replaced from time to time.

Implant-supported bridges, on the other hand, are permanently secured in place by four or six strategically placed dental implants. As a result, they act just like your natural teeth and are never at risk of them falling out or becoming dislodged.

While it is true that conventional dentures offer a clear initial cost-benefit ratio to an edentulous patient, remember that they must be replaced approximately every 5 years. Therefore, compared to All-On-6 dental implants, Barcelona patients may be better off opting for implant-supported dentures, which are designed to last for several decades and more.

The All-on-6® treatment concept is an effective and efficient technique that uses four dental implants in the upper or lower jaw to secure a set of replacement teeth. These dental implants not only support the replacement teeth, but also act as replacement roots that connect to the jawbone. This allows for a long-term, permanent solution that promotes strong, resilient support and a natural smile.

The All-on-6® treatment concept was introduced and trademarked by Nobel Biocare. As a result of extensive clinical research, the procedure uses the smallest number of implants possible, avoids the need for bone graft surgery (where replacement bone is added) and offers a permanent, natural-looking solution in a very short time.

The All-on-6® treatment concept is designed to minimize pain. In most cases, your dentist will offer you local anesthesia or a sedative, and you may experience minimal swelling and pain after surgery. Patients are often surprised at how little pain they feel and how quickly they recover.
Your dentist will usually recommend that you take two to three days to adjust to your new smile, however, many people will feel able to return to their daily schedules as soon as the day after surgery.
After your initial consultation, it usually only takes a day to say goodbye to your old removable dentures and leave the office with your new fixed teeth. This is made possible by the strategic placement of dental implants which eliminates the need for more complicated surgery. Additionally, a couple of follow-up appointments are usually necessary to make sure you are happy with the results and that everything is healing well.
Yes. Our dentists are highly trained experts and will work with you to make replacement teeth that are the ideal shape and shade – they will be virtually indistinguishable from healthy natural teeth. In addition, molds are carefully taken of the natural contours of your jaw to ensure a perfect fit to the shape of your face.

Yes. As with any other medical procedure, the quality of the products used is critical to success. The implants and components used in the All-on-4® treatment concept are permanently in your body, so they must be scientifically tested and of the highest quality.

Yeah.
Not at all. You may think that your age may prevent you from enjoying the benefits of dental implants, however, health is a more determining factor than age. If you are healthy enough to have a tooth extracted, you are likely healthy enough to receive dental implants. If in doubt, you should contact your dentist for a consultation.
The All-on-6® treatment concept is based on tilting dental implants to such a degree that they connect with as much of the jawbone as possible. This allows for fewer dental implants to be placed, which requires less bone and reduces the need for bone grafting. For many patients, bone grafting is not necessary because the dental implant and bone can be fully secured with the All-on-6® treatment concept. However, if you have any doubts, you can consult a dentist at one of our “Centers of Excellence” who will tell you whether you are suitable for the procedure and whether or not you will need a bone graft.
